In consultation with the Gold Coast City Council S.E.C.S formed the initial guidlines for best practice in installing silt fences in Queensland. In today’s climate of environmental protection it is council regulation that all sediment on the site and erosion of that site be contained.

Minimum council requirements are for a sediment fence around the relevant area with a gravel access to the site. Failure to do so will result in significant fines. Please consult the respective council for details. We carry all relevant public liability, work cover and other insurance certification, along with an up to date Risk Management Plan.
